Established in 2005, Contrail Aerospace is a Canadian, privately-owned company that provides a diverse range of staffing, maintenance, and management solutions to the aerospace industry.

Led by two industry pioneers, co-founders Sam Mahdavi and Cedric Cholmondeley decided to start the company when they saw a need for personalized, reliable and efficient staffing service in the Aviation industry.

Both have experience over a wide range of industry services including delivery, inspection services for new and used aircraft,manufacturing,heavy maintenance and project management.

By combining Cholmondeley’s extensive airline experience with Mahdavi's manufacturing background, Contrail Aerospace was able to quickly establish itself in an industry that is hungry for a responsive player with a whatever it takes attitude.

Mahdavi holds both a Transport Canada AME license and an Federal Aviation Authority A & P while Cholmondeley holds a Federal Aviation Authority A & P license.

Every member of Contrail's highly skilled, professional contracted workforce is credentialed in all facets of aircraft maintenance, modification, and overhaul.
